Calgary — ZAP’s Primary Service Area

ZAP serves homes and businesses throughout Calgary, including all four quadrants and all Calgary communities.

Calgary is ZAP’s primary service area for:

  • residential pest control;
  • commercial pest management;
  • insect control;
  • rodent control;
  • wildlife control;
  • bird-related service;
  • exterior pest problems;
  • and other services within ZAP’s normal scope.

Where ZAP publishes a standard residential pest-control price, Calgary customers receive that published price when the service meets the stated conditions.

ZAP was founded in Calgary in 2015 by a pest-control professional whose Calgary career began in 2001.

During regular phone hours, customers can speak directly with certified Alberta Structural Pesticide Applicators who also perform pest-control work in the field.

Pest Control in Chestermere

Chestermere is part of ZAP’s core service area.

ZAP’s normal residential pest-control, commercial pest-control and wildlife-control services are available in Chestermere, subject to the requirements of the individual service.

Where ZAP publishes a standard residential pest-control price, Chestermere receives the same published standard price as Calgary.

This means customers should not assume that living just outside Calgary automatically requires an additional travel price.

Service-specific limits still apply. For example, a package with a property-size limit, unusual-access condition or separately assessed pest remains subject to those conditions.

Pest Control in Heritage Pointe

Heritage Pointe is also part of ZAP’s core service area.

ZAP regularly services Heritage Pointe and offers its normal residential pest-control, commercial pest-control and wildlife-control services there, subject to the requirements of the individual service.

Where ZAP publishes a standard residential pest-control price, Heritage Pointe receives the same published standard price as Calgary.

Larger estate properties, unusual access, extensive treatment areas or services that are separately assessed may still require an individual quotation.

Regular Pest-Control Service in Surrounding Communities

ZAP regularly provides pest-control service in:

  • Airdrie

  • Balzac

  • Langdon

  • Okotoks

  • De Winton

  • Cochrane

  • Bearspaw

  • Springbank

  • Tsuut’ina Nation

These locations are part of ZAP’s regular pest-control service territory.

Unlike Calgary, Chestermere and Heritage Pointe, standard Calgary pricing is not automatically promised in these communities.

ZAP will confirm the total price before booking according to the location, service required and expected number of visits.

Where applicable, the quotation reflects travel without requiring the customer to calculate a separate mileage formula.

Wildlife-control availability outside ZAP’s core service area is explained separately below.

Additional Communities Considered by Quotation

ZAP may also provide pest-control service outside its regular service area when the location and service requirements make the job practical.

Areas that may be considered include:

North and northeast of Calgary

Crossfield, Irricana, Beiseker and selected areas of Rocky View County.

East and southeast of Calgary

Strathmore, Indus, Dalemead, Carseland and selected areas of Rocky View County.

South and southwest of Calgary

High River, Aldersyde, Diamond Valley, Priddis, Millarville and selected areas of Foothills County.

West of Calgary

Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows and selected nearby areas.

Service in these locations is considered case by case and is not confirmed until ZAP reviews the location and service required.

Call or text ZAP with the service location and pest problem. A technician can determine whether the job can be accommodated and provide pricing before it is booked.

Pricing Outside Calgary

When a ZAP service page publishes a standard residential pest-control price, that published price applies in:

Calgary, Chestermere and Heritage Pointe.

Service-page conditions still apply, including any:

  • property-size limit;

  • pest-specific exclusion;

  • access requirement;

  • treatment-area limit;

  • separately assessed programme;

  • or other condition shown on the service page.

For other surrounding communities, ZAP provides an individual quotation before booking.

The quotation may reflect:

  • travel time;

  • the type of service required;

  • the number of visits expected;

  • property size or complexity;

  • and technician routing.

ZAP does not publish a universal per-kilometre travel formula because different pest-control services require different numbers and types of visits.

Warranty Service Outside ZAP’s Core Area

Where a ZAP service includes a warranty, the treatment coverage described by that warranty still applies to an eligible outside-area job.

For service outside Calgary, Chestermere and Heritage Pointe, an additional travel charge may apply when a warranty return visit is required.

The covered re-treatment itself remains covered under the applicable warranty; the additional charge, where applicable, is for travel.

Any applicable warranty-travel terms should be explained when the original outside-area service is quoted.

Wildlife-Control Service Areas

ZAP’s normal wildlife-control services are available within:

  • Calgary

  • Chestermere

  • Heritage Pointe

Selected wildlife jobs may also be considered in ZAP’s surrounding service area when the problem and service scope can be reasonably determined before dispatch.

Wildlife jobs requiring:

  • an on-site visit solely to prepare a quotation;

  • an extended trapping programme;

  • unpredictable animal pickups;

  • repeated return trips;

  • or other ongoing attendance

have more limited availability outside ZAP’s core service area.

Certain defined or one-visit wildlife problems may be practical to quote for a surrounding community when the technician can establish the likely service scope by phone or from customer photographs.

Call or text ZAP with the location and wildlife problem so a technician can determine whether service is practical before an appointment is scheduled.

Commercial Pest-Control Service Areas

Calgary is ZAP’s primary commercial service area.

ZAP also provides commercial pest-control service in surrounding communities.

Commercial programmes outside ZAP’s regular service area may be considered case by case based on:

  • location;

  • programme size;

  • frequency of service;

  • service requirements;

  • technician routing;

  • and the number of sites involved.

A recurring commercial programme or multi-property account may therefore be practical in a location where a small one-time residential call would require a different service decision.

Commercial clients can contact ZAP to discuss the property, pest issue, required service frequency and vendor-documentation requirements before a programme is proposed.

Not Sure Whether ZAP Services Your Area?

Call or text ZAP with:

  • the city, community or municipality;

  • the postal code;

  • whether the property is residential or commercial;

  • the pest or wildlife problem;

  • and any important details about the property or service required.

A photograph may be helpful for some pest or wildlife problems, but it is not required unless a technician requests one.

ZAP will confirm whether the service is available and, where necessary, provide the total price before booking.
