Sowbugs

Known by many as armadillo or roly-poly bugs, these miniature armored insects help outdoor locations by being little recycling machines. They commonly consume decaying plants while leaving behind nutrients. However, they require moisture. Their presence in homes or other buildings means a high moisture condition exists. In addition to attracting sowbugs, moisture encourages mold, rotting wood and the perfect nesting location for other pests. Pest control methods may temporarily solve the problem. Nevertheless, if humid locations are not corrected, the sowbugs and other insects will likely return. We can evaluate and identify the problem along with offering viable solutions.
